Daniel J. Wright ✉
Daniel is a civil litigator with a primary focus on construction law, contract disputes, and creditor remedies in bankruptcy and insolvency matters.
He represents a broad range of clients both in and out of the courtroom, guiding them through the litigation process with practical advice and strategic insight. Daniel regularly appears before the Commercial List, where he has built a growing practice representing secured and unsecured creditors in complex insolvency matters.
Daniel earned his law degree from Western University, where he also worked at Western’s Community Legal Services, providing pro bono legal assistance to members of the London-Middlesex community. He articled at a large national law firm in Ottawa before moving back to Toronto.
Before entering the legal field, Daniel completed both his BSc and MSc at Western University, and co-authored scientific articles published in peer-review journals. His training in the scientific method informs his legal practice, equipping him with analytical precision and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
Out of the courtroom, Daniel enjoys staying active, watching hockey and football, and competing in (almost) any sporting and gaming competitions.
